Also It came with Novaks mags, anyone know if those are reliable? What mags should I pick up for my new favorite toy

Novaks might be rebranded ACT mags from italy. Wolff spring also sells this same 1911 mag with their stamp on it with, of course, extra power wolff mag springs. ACT will stamp your logo on some too if you order a few thousand of them. Mine works fine.

I also like chip McCormick and wilson ones. There is non stop debate about which follower is best in the wilsons, but just pony up for 2 or three of something and get that expense out of the way. if you can get a hold of some usgi 7 rounders from the vietnam era, go ahead, they are good too.
