    Taurus Judge

    Does anybody have any experience with it? I would like to get one for my wife to use as home defence. She can handle the .410 shells better than the 45 long. Also is the judge legal in CA?

              Not legal in CA, junk anyway. It is HUGE. Buy a 357. Check reviews on YouTube too.

                          its illegal in cali. its considered a short barrel shotgun. I dont really get the fascination with it. but then again I think the SCAR is a butt ugly rifle.

                                  I've gotten to shoot one.... not that you can get it in CA but even if you could.... get a .357. much better gun.

                                      This has been posted several times. I just don't see the allure. The commercial blowing up watermelons looks fun but other than that...

                                      Why not buy her a shotgun in .410? There are youth models available too that may be a good fit especially if she is petite.

                                      ETA: Mossberg makes the 505 pump, 12" lop, 20" barrel, in .410.

                                              I got to shoot one awhile back.

                                              It was kind of fun to shoot .410 out of a pistol, but yeah, it's not on my list of "someday" guns.

                                                      Yeah... I thought it was cool when I saw a guy shooting one out in AZ... Then I saw the box of truth and I laughed. Better to just buy a belly gun or something.
