Its a pretty even trade... you might be on the lower end of it, but its darn close.

Its hard to let go of a colt though... it will go up in value more than the inox.

I personally don't care for either gun. I had a Beretta 92 Italian model with the two dot sight not the "normal" 3 dot. and I didn't care for the Beretta much. That said I don't care for 1911 ( your post says 1991 but I assume you mean 1911). given that I would take the 1911 over the beretta.

I really don't know what has gotten into me, it seems I've just had my fill of the 1911. It is still a favorite but I am no longer as obsessed with it as when I was a little bit younger.

To those who've posted " only 3 ", I used to have a total of 8 and then I suddenly realized " What do I need 8 1911s for???? ". So, in the last several years I started paring down the collection, and.... I am fine with it.....I can't bring those 1911s with me to the grave---LOL!

Maybe you are all correct, I should just keep what I have for now, forget buying anymore Berettas, just enjoy the few guns I have left. I can be happier and more at peace with just a few, right?

If you really want that 92FS, it should be Beretta + cash.

Or, sell it on Calguns then use the money for a Beretta. But if it's a straight trade (unless it's a pre-USA Italian as I mentioned earlier), you're getting the short end of the deal.

I wouldn't trade any Colt 1911 type for any Beretta 9mm, other than an M12.
