Depends. HELL NO on the current production Italian Berettas. If it was the pre-USA Italians, then yes.

Which Inox model are you talking about? Is it anything special, or just plain jain M9 type that is stainless?

I have a Made in USA Beretta 92FS ( Police Service Model) on my hip while on duty. And sometimes off duty. Also have a spare, almost new Made in USA 92FS in the safe. Both guns shoot great and never jam. They are both at least 6-7 yars old.

I am looking at a brand new one in the local shop for 619.00+ tax. Made in Italy. I know it has some plastic parts , but don't know about new 92's that much.

All I know that in many years using a 92 beretta ( in US and few other places)it was really good to me.

Its the stainless Inox Beretta 92fs, and I think it is " regular ", at Budsguns that is California legal.

No, but I like the 1911 and 45caliber and just hate Berettas.

The current Italian Berettas are fine, they're just not the same as the old ones. It used to mean something when I browse through classifieds seeing an Italian Beretta for sale. All straight dustcover, non radiused backstrap, all metal parts, metal guiderod, and slick as snot.

Now the current production guns are no slouch. They've recently went back to silver non-polymer coated parts for their INOX models. However, it just isn't the same as "how it used to be."

I hear you, Bug Splat. I do like 1911s and .45 ACPs too. Except that in my situation, I have 3 1911s and 'am entertaining the thought of paring-down the collection a bit. The Inox just caught my fancy, after I just bought a regular Italian made Beretta 92 fs. The Beretta's are---FOR ME---sweet shooters.

Only 3? I have 11. That doesn't stop me from buying more. I personally would not trade a 1911 for anything other than another 1911 or presidential portraits.
Is the 1991 ORM or NRM. The NRM's are much nicer looking than the big billboard ORM's.

You'd be better off selling your 1991. Lots of people looking for 1911's. Including myself.

i prefer the older examples of most semi autos; +1 if the beretta was older italian model imo.
