I have the p2000 LEM in the 9mm and it's a great pistol. Enough so that my wife decided that she wants to keep it for herself.

Then changing to the lighter trigger springs might make all the difference for you. Also make sure that you aren't over engaging the trigger with your finger. With an UNLOADED pistol (as a rule, do not even have any ammo in the same room either), grip the pistol as normal. As you pull the trigger, look down at the movement. (Viewpoint is looking down squarely at the top of the slide.) if you're finger is moving in a radius from your knuckle, you' likely to pull your shots to the side opposite your hand. If you pull the trigger by bending the larger finger joint, the part of the finger making contact with the trigger is moving straight back. That means you won't pull your shots, at least when you pull the trigger, since your motion is left/right neutral.

I've been meaning to do it to mine. Only concern I would have is catching on a shirt or something while reholstering...not a big deal on a day to day basis, but when taking a class where you're instructed not to look at your holster, holster fast, and doing it several dozen times a day...it gets riskier.

Proper holstering with the LEM set light is with your THUMB on the hammer. You won't be able to force the gun to fire if you are pushing the gun into holster with your thumb there.

I first put my LEM in with all the parts to make it ultra light, and it sure was light, but you really need the big trigger return spring that comes with the LEM kit to make it excellent. This brings the trigger pull from mid 4lbs to mid 6lbs, but when you are shooting fast it really makes that trigger reset much quicker. The light spring is too light, I had problems where I had to really move my trigger finger out of the way for it to reset.

Interesting, I never thought about putting my thumb on the hammer. I've been shooting Glocks mainly.

I tried ordering the parts from HK and they are out till June!
