      The Clinton ban only impacted manufacture of new magazines.
      It did not restrict possession, nor purchase/sale.
      You could still legally sell/purchase/import a 30rd magazine in California right up until the California ban took effect in 2000.

        Haha, that's pretty awesome. I've seen 33 rounders out of Glocks but a 20 rounder out of a 1911 definitely takes the cake.
