Problems included a weak takedown lever that can break, leaving the gun completely useless, and the US made internal extractored 220's had many FTF issues that were blamed on a faulty extractor design. The extractor was placed too low in the breach face and was of a design that was far too critical of extractor tension. Of course not all 220's had problems, but it was enough to raise many eyebrows. I would take your 220 to your SIG armorer and have him take a look. If that fails, call SIG and see what they'll do or contact a guy named Bruce Grey who's probably the nations foremost SIG armorer. The SRT trigger install is pretty hard to screw up.
Yup, my friend had these problems with his 220, it went back to Sig 2 or 3 times. It now sports an external extractor and works fine.

External means pivoting on a pin and visible from the outside. Internal means not visible from the outside of the slide when in battery. All the folded sheetmetal slides had internal extractors.

Contact SIG customer service. They will send you a free shipping label and fix it for free. They have no idea whether or not you bought it used. When I sent mine back they didn't ask about that. I was having some feeding and extracting issues. When I got it back it was good to go.
