Buying Ammo

Went 2 Sports Authority today 2 buy some Hand Gun Ammo and the guy had me fill out a bunch of paperwork he also entered my info into a computer. I also had 2 get fingerprinted He said any Ammo sold in the city of Sacramento that this has 2 be done I have never heard of this is this only a Sports Authority policy.

I did not think that law went into affect yet any help please

State-wide rule similar to that Sacramento rule goes into effect Feb 2011, I believe unless we can rejoin the United States and get this mockery repealed.

Heaven forbid they actually try to target criminals, but hey - they're dangerous so they don't want to rile them (someone could get hurt)

Apply to the BATF for an 03FFL, then get a California COE (certificate of eligibility) and not only will you be exempt from the ammo restrictions (including online ordering), but you'll also be exempt from the 1-every-30-days handgun purchase restriction!

I just requested the 03 application last week.

Don't forget you are subject to BATF inspection as well, once you get the card.
