Bought a Ruger GP100 today!

Congrats. I've had the exact same gun for about 3 weeks now and love it.

Here's mine after a thorough cleaning. It has more than 15K+ through it mostly 38 spl, but some 357 mag loads too. I've lost count since it is still tight and accurate like the first day I've shot it. The only difference is the action being smooth. It has an action job.

You would be surprise how easy to strip a Ruger wheel gun.

I love my Ruger wheel guns.

Worked in a gunshop that have customers bringing in a shoebox full of gun parts. I don't work in a gunshop anymore, but I'm sure there are some gunshop owners here that will tell you about it. Usually they will call first asking, "Ahh, uhhh... Can you assemble a gun for me?" Then they make an appointment and they will be bringing in a shoebox. Some will admit to having a few brewskies prior to proceeding into pin and screw removal adventure.
