10 round mags are tight. With 10 in and the slide closed it going to add resistance to the slide and slow it down. Hence your FTF. Slower slide and an already tight 10th round will not come out easily.

I wouldn't mess with the feed ramp yet. Load 10 rounds in the mag, chamber a round and keep firing (100 to 200 rounds). Firing ball ammo will smooth out the feed ramp.
Of course, use all your mags. Mags can need breaking in too. If you find only one mag is causing the problem, put a bunch of rounds through it. If that doesn't work, send the mag back to Glock.Last edited by Katana; 01-24-2010, 7:08 PM.Comment

Glock 10 rd mags are so tight that if they are inserted in the magwell with 10 rds in the mag, they are putting a lot of upward pressure on the slide. I think in your case, the Blazer brass ammo, which is a little on the soft side, combined with the drag imposed on the slide by the upward pressure of the top round in the mag is causing your issues. Glocks never need work on the feed ramps, they are good to go from the factory. Like was suggested, I think if you load 9 rounds the issue will go away. Also if you use hotter ammo, the issue might go away.Comment

I know this isnt an answer, but both of my Glocks (17,19) only have problems with WWB and ONLY WWB. I have fired almost everything else in them- Remington green/white, geen box, Mag Tech and PMC.
Both of them just dont like WWB.
If not the magazines, maybe the ammo?Comment

keep the mags loaded in the safe and shoot the gun more the problem should go away. when i first got my glock 17 it was so hard to get the 10th round in the mag.. even with the loader. now i can load it with my fingers no problem. and my glock 17 fires everything i feed it every time!Comment
