Its small and accurate, but lacking stopping power and mag capacity. (fixed barrel, 9x18mm in between a 9mm and .380, 8 round mag) That being said, it is one of my favorite pistols

its the walther ppk knock off isnt it? my a/c mech instructor has a ww2 collection. never offerd to sell any but i wanted to ask if hed sell me one of his old colts, p38, or his maks. it just noticed the mak cuz it had that cool holster on that deadliest warrior. is it worth buying if it was for like .. lets say 150 to 300??

the thing is.. everyone gots a glock a sig a ruger hk whatever, even ppk . but i never heard of anyone having a makarov

Its a copy of a Walther PP and it was introduced in 1951. $250 is good for a good Bulgarian... a little more for a Russian and even more for the East German. The East German being about $400 and up.

I'll be selling my East German Mak and 6 mags and two holsters look for it on the classifieds section tomorrow. It's a beauty and if I didn't just buy a SIG 232 I'd keep it. I sold it... easy to sell... Great pistol...

Although Im not going to diss the cz82, the hungarian, polish and czech pistols are not true Makarovs and are very different pistols... They share the same ammo and are often advertised as Makarovs, but they are not.
