I think I've seen you post that pic before. Everytime I see it I think OMG why are those sites so TALL, or is that just an optical illusion from the pic?

I think those sites are used on the threaded barrel version, so you can use the sights with a suppressor (outside of CA)...Mine are not that tall.

I think they look much better with the black grips. Mine wears hogue recheckered ones....

I have a pair of the black Hogue recheckered grips, but recently had my original FDE grips recheckered by Hogue and they are very nice and "grippy!" I switch them out depending on my mood.

pics or the recheckering never happened seriously, if you could post a pic and how much it ran you(?), that would be cool...I have been looking for something like this, not interested in any of the aftermarket grips (at least at this time).
