    Sig P220 Combat?

I'm a noob and already have a G19 and SA1911 Trophy Match. I am interested in getting a P220 Combat and was wondering if you guys had any input or experience with it.
A lot of people love Sig's but I have also heard the company has gone downhill a little bit with their new line. I love the looks of that gun and shot an older P220 at LAX range and loved it. It didn't have the light rail so I would guess it was an older model. I would really appreciate any input

    I have it, it's a great gun.

You can't go wrong with any 220 by Sig.

The fate of the wounded rest in the hands of the ones who apply the first dressing.

First off, I am an admitted Sig junkie.

I too have read some complaints about the "newer" line of Sigs. Some of them are very valid, but I don't believe they are wide-spread.

For what its worth I have a few of the "older" sigs (100% German made pre-rail) and they have been flawless. I also have one of the "newer" ones with the slide from NH (and rail) which also happens to be in the 220 family (not a combat though). My newer 220 has been every bit as flawless and pleasing to shoot as my older models.

I say go for it, I'm sure you will love it.

Love my combat 220. It's on my "never sell" list.

You can spot the unique looks of the P220 Combat a mile away. Its a bit heavy compared to the polymer guns but that helps it absorb the kick from the .45
The best thing about Sigs in my opinion...the trigger pull

Accurate out of the box & great tigger pull! I've got several non-1911 .45's and the P220 Combat is easily my favorite of the bunch... So much so, that I've had to add it's little brother to the family (P226 Combat)

Now the question is whether to sell the G19 or wait til I come up on some more money

Does the P220 Combat have a magazine disconnect?

Anyone know of a good holster for the 220 combat? I heard it's hard to find one because of the true picatinny

Bladetech or Safariland. The former fits perfectly, the latter needs a little modification with a heatgun.

Bought the Safariland Tactical 6004 model (It is stamped: 6004-77, P-220 P-226, 4006) for my P220-ST, it also works perfectly for my Sig P220 Combat... no alterations to the holster needed!
