Funny...my XD9 is a tack driver out of the box. IMO put in more time with your firearm and stop listening to people who say you can't do something with what you have!

Unless there is something mechanically wrong with your XD, it should be quite capable of producing very small groups.
1) what distances are you shooting?
2) what group sizes are you getting? (what group sizes do you want?)
I have an XD tactical in 9mm as well as a buddy. These things are RIDICULOUSLY accurate. Another friend has one in .45 acp. He is amazingly accurate with it. Im talking about 100+ yards at 8-12 inch plates.
I would recommend letting someone more "accurate" try out your pistol before you sink money into accurizing it. It's not a bullseye gun but neither is anything else in the category of modern combat firearms.Aloha snackbar!Comment
