When the Clinton ban was about to go into effect, I went a little crazy and bought ummm ... a few Glock 17s and 19s, and a whole bunch of mags in various capacities. I took then all out, shot 'em a bit, and then pretty much stored them away.
In the intervening years I sold most of that collection, having had only 2 G17s left at the beginning of the year. Having chosen a new pistol as my "favorite" I got rid of the last Glock 17 recently.
And then ... while searching for a damned funnel to fill up my transmission fluid last night ... I find it:
A box FULL of pre-ban Glock 9mm magazines. The condition is not great ... some obvious rodent involvement here, but I am sure they can be rebuilt.
Crap ... it's like that story about the woman who sells her hair to buy a watch chain for her husband, and he sells his watch to buy her a comb for her hair ... only not nearly so heartwarming.
