If I buy a "Springfield 1911 TRP Operator Tactical .45" from a out of state vendor am I good to go? This is the full rail version. Is it on the approved list?

Last I heard SA isn't producing the full rail version TRPs anymore so I don't think its on the list. I could be wrong.

This is a half-rail version, the OP is looking for a full rail TRP Operator. The do come up in the classifieds occasionally, just be ready with the

This one is out of state. I really want to buy it but the seller says it is not on the CA approved list. It is a TRP Operator with Full Rail. I was under the opinion that these were CA Approved.

Does anyone have a definite YES or NO on weather it ok for me to receive this Pistol in CA?

Is it possible that one type of "Springfield TRP Operator Full Rail" is on the CA list but this one is not? Could they have different model #'s?

Yes, they are CA approved, Turners in Sn Bernanrdino had one stock a couple weeks ago. I was going to pull the trigger and get it but decided to get something else, you should be good to go.

ETA: This was brand new, I believe someone mention Stockade in Orange had them in stock also.

You're thinking of the newer TRP's. The one above is the full rail version which springfield stopped making years ago.

Nope, It's a Full Rail TRP, Tenbrook, try calling Turners In SN. BDO. They might still have it in stock and maybe ask them about the model number.

The Full length and half length rails are the same model number. Just different production times.

The full rail TRP model number is PC9105LCA whereas the half rail is PC9105LP confusing not really. I have Three it's like crack cocaine : )
