Awesome piece!! The one you have a recent made one with the lock or is it an older one without it?? My wife has one and I shoot the heck out of it and it has one of the best feeling trigger pulls. Smooth!! Ours is the 4" model.Comment

its blued and my dad got it back in the 70's or 80's i'm not sure, but no internal lock

You should keep this gun.
The 586s are harder to get than 686s.
Both 586/686 are IMHO the quintessential 38/357 wheelgun.
With a tad of care it'll last you a lifetime.
If you don't like it I'll buy it, if you're near me.

Oh sweet! I have one and IMO it is better then my 686's, of course I bought mine and it does not have the History yours does, this even if you don't like is a keeper.
