    I need a LIFE!!

I had one, just sold it. Don't worry it's gun #3 on the list of handguns to buy when I leave Ca.

Ballistics are not so great, but neither is standard ammo for 5.56.

Here is what I like about it.

    Its low recoil
Price isn't too bad on ammo (average is less than $200 per 500rnds)
    5.7 is available
They make an AR upper to share ammo (like a 9mm)
Gemtech makes a silencer they can both share
Magazine capacity (at most 30rnders) CCW that sucker and you can easily have 2x 30rngers and 1x 20rnder in the gun = 80 on your persons)

    Things I don't really like.

Its large (for CC. Good winter gun(?))
Its loud and pronounced when you fire (when I say loud its funny because everything is pretty loud - get one its a different loud!)
Huge flame comes out depending on ammo

Thats about it. No regrets in ever getting one really. In all honesty I never really cared that its a tumbler....you can shoot that thing so fast you can probly nail someone several time before they hit the ground. And if you do load, you can always do your own loads...Hornady Vmax is a good one.

    Good gun man!!!!

I would say the coolness factor lays with the bullets. A mag full of them bullets must be pretty COOL!

Like mine a lot, went from hk usp expert in 45, to glock 34, and now fn 5.7 with fixed sights.
More positives-mags are easier to load, compared to previous pistols, nice grip texture, very accurate, very few people are competing with you to get the ammo, big muzzle blast
negatives-grip is quite long, not for smallish hands, your local shop is not going to carry ammo, if you need it in a hurry you are sol. There is a lot of plastic, I wonder how it will hold up over time?

Finally, it was on battlestar galactica so it must be good.

Is it louder than a CZ52? Does it throw the 2-3 foot fire ball? Not comparing but man that CZ is an attention getter.

I squeezed off a few at Metcalf and a couple people came over saying WTF is that thing? It's fricken loud.

Too bad, not too many other gun manufactures have made complete pistols for this round. 1k for polymer pistol, is little too much. If Glock or Sig made a semi auto chambered for this round that was cheaper, I'd consider it.

I read somewhere that they have almost the same ballistics as a 22 magnum?

Anybody know if this is true?

                  TIA

False! click the link I provided above, or do a search, it has been covered here before.

Felt recoil is like a 22mag.

If Glock or Sig made guns in that caliber do you think the FN would be 1K? No competition, they set the price.

More competition is always great. Perhaps further lowering price of ammo. Would be cool to see a glock in 5.7. Probably be more compact than the fn pistol.

I have one and love it, its a fun gun to shoot. Ammo is cheaper than 40 and 45. Try Bass Pro if you want to buy one I got mine from there for $1000. Ammo is easy to find because not to many people shoot it.

                            This is mine
