From what I've read, the 4 major providers of XD trigger jobs all feel different. How much different I couldn't say. Some are crisper, some can customize the weight of pull. If you're going to get it done by a smith, I'd really send it to Springer or Canyon Creek. They're pretty much the top in the XD field.

Greebo, as a matter of feline pride, would attempt to fight or rape absolutely anything, up to and including a four-horse logging wagon. Ferocious dogs would whine and hide under the stairs when Greebo sauntered down the street. Foxes Kept away from the village. Wolves made a detour. Terry PratchettComment

+1000 on Bolsa Gunsmith...great prices.. great peopleI am considering a trigger job on my XD .45. It is my favorite handgun, but that huge space in the front of the trigger pull isn't the greatest, I usually don't let the trigger out all the way but I tend to slap the trigger a bit after a few shots. Would just like to crisp it up and maybe reduce the pull a hair if it wont encumber firing.
I was thinking of having it done at Bolsa Gunsmithing... they just did some other work for me and did a great job, cheap, and really fast.
Every time I have asked for advice on this site I have ended up following it and being really glad I did, so I would appreciate you thoughts on this.
thanks,
adam
