some ranges charges you $10 for 100 rounds of CCI.

so a brick of 550 rounds for $30 is still a bargain!

or... if you have time to go to walmart 3x a day to check if they have some 22s on the shelf will save you money! (but NOT time!)

Are you telling me that there are different qualities of ammo!!?? WOW! I am shocked and amazed. There I thought everything single round of 22lr in the world are exactly the same.

You can go ahead and pay $30 for a 500 rnd bulk pack. I can not tell you how to spend your money. In fact it looks like some of the walmart raiders from ammo sales forum have caught wind of this thread now and are here. I am sure they will be happy to sell you some at that price.

I am not saying that the free market economy isn't at work here. Supply and demand has gotten us to where we are. Just like oil companies are gouging us with gas prices, the ammo suppliers and resellers are also gouging us with no real good reason but FUD.

So, you consider all "bricks" to be "500 round bulk packs?" OK, I understand you now. I think.

huh? Not sure if you are trying to insult me here or if there is another point to the post. Now I am confused.

It sounds like he's asking an awful lot from a friend. Tell him "thanks, but I don't have anything that shoots .22, but you might want to try Calguns and see if anyone local wants it."

No, I'm really not trying or wanting to insult you or anyone else! If I was, you'ld know it and I'd be banned! I was just pointing out that your first post refered to "bricks" (I've always equated "bricks" of 22lrs to be 10 boxes of 50 rounds of any quality of .22lr) then, later you refer to "bulk packs". I generally think of "bulk packs" as lesser quality and cheaper ammo than even "average" ammo. So, I was just confussed by the way you interchanged the two terms. Since there is no really definition of either term, it's niether one of our faults. It's just a misunderstanding. If you're going to go to the Ventura show tomorrow, I'll buy you a beer, coke or water. PM me or meet us for breakfast or lunch per impacto's thread.
