About 3 years ago, Kings did a really good job of installing sights on a BHP for me. The work was excellent, and the reblue they did on the slide was just as good.

OTH, it took two months (rain kept interfeering with their blueing operation), and they basically said "too bad". Its a shame, good gunsmithing is getting hard to find locally.

Anyone know of some decent gunsmiths in the south Orange County area?

They blue outside when it rains things get messy. I wouldn't fault Kings for the weather
I move slow but I make up for it by shooting poorly.

When I hit the lotto I'm only shooting factory.

Not blaming them for the weather. But I also know it didn't rain for 8 weeks straight. This is So. Cal after all.

That being said. I want to stress that the work was very well done (required machining my slide). I've had some hacks mess up a few of my firearms in the past. Jobs were I found myself thinking If thats what I wanted, I'd have done it myself. I now live in San Clemente, if I needed quality work done on one of my pistols, I'd make the drive north.
