                  Kahr Mk 9. They also have a poly version that's vey, very small. I'd also suggest an EMP, but you'd have to get lucky on a used to make $800.00.

                      This. I love my G26, absolutely, and it sees personal protection duty often. Load it up with some LE-grade JHP and you are good to go. No fuss, affordable, and lightweight. Not to mention it'll be way under your budget if your max desired limit is $800.

                      I don't think an XD-9 sub-compact would be bad either. I have had a good experience with my XD Service.

                            my g26 is my least favorite of the guns i own but it was the one i carried most when i lived in a free state. ultra concealable but the grip just isnt comfortable for me. i prefer the g19.
