Yes, for anything that doesn't have to go thru an FFL. I purchased many accessories from them without any issues. I've never ordered any ammo or firearms from them so not sure what they do in those cases.Comment

Ruger makes a slide assembly that is dirt cheap and OR - may require slight modification to accommodate the LCI - there's a bunch of YT vids on how to do it.

I see lots of optics ready Glock slides at gun shows and Ebay. Mainly 17/19 gen3.
Did you check Ebay?Last edited by Reno-Kid; 03-06-2024, 12:15 PM.Comment

True. I interpreted OPs request as OR out-of-the-box.Ruger makes a slide assembly that is dirt cheap and OR - may require slight modification to accommodate the LCI - there's a bunch of YT vids on how to do it.

Same.
Optics Ready (OR) out-of-the-box means, the pistol arrives in your hand, ready to mount the optic, WITHOUT having to cut, modify, spend more $$$ or buy extra parts that are not included in the gun or optic.
Purchasing an optic plate from AliExpress, hammering out the rear sight and replacing with the plate to mount an optic certainly works, and is cheap, but is not out-of-the-box.
Having a (insert favorite, low cost gunsmith shop name here) or BUBBA mill out the top of the slide for only (insert low price here) is not out-of-the-box.
Purchasing a factory Optics-Ready slide, available from gunmakers like S&W, Springfield, SIG, works, probably very reliable, and some may consider that factory parts, but again, not out-of-the-box.
I would even say all Gen3 Glocks capable of accepting Leupold's DeltaPoint Micro red-dot sight, may be a bit of stretch. It's only one sight that can do this and only a few guns it can work with.
So, to sum it up, there's not that many guns that are optics-ready out-of-the-box in CA. But more are coming since the Microstamping requirement seems to have gone away.NRA Pistol/Rifle Instructor
