2024 Colt Python blued carbon steel

I broke down and purchased a new 2020 stainless 3 inch Python and it is a very fine revolver. I have always been a S&W fan, but the new Colt Python is a very nice handgun.
I will get a blued Python when they make the roster, but I did not want to wait another 6 months or year and the blued models are still pretty hard to locate outside California.Comment

Huh. You're right... on both counts. On the stainless version it looks like a vent rib should look. On the blued version it looks like an upside-down railroad track, or a bridge across a gully, or like there should be a Picatinny rail on top, or something "not right". The pillars (for lack of a better term) are too narrow.
Guess I owe you a bit of a "thank you", then. I have absolutely no desire to buy one now, even though I've been hoping Colt would come out with the blued model ever since learning they reintroduced the Python. I mean, come on... we all knew the finish on the new guns wouldn't match the Royal Blue of the past, but why the heck did they have to go and screw up the vent rib... the signature feature that makes a Python a Python?!?
