If you can't shoot a Glock, it's a grip technique issue every time.
The only exemption is if your hands are extremely, unusually small. Like XS gloves small.
People get mad hearing it, but... It's true every time.
I don't like Glocks, but it's my primary gun that I shoot and train on. If you have normal adult hands, you can run a Glock.
I actually prefer the XD, and much prefer the m&p. But for reasons that don't matter.
I'd probably buy a regular xd tactical over the xdm though. It doesn't seem to offer much over the tac or service xd.Comment

I think the original XD Service 4 inch is far better looking than the XDM or XDM Elite which are “busy” looking. The gen 3 baby Glocks, frying pan finish, are the best looking of the Glock family. Especially my 26, 27, 30 with a pinky extension they look so cool! Even after over 25 years that deep black finish still looks awesome.I agree with you. I'm not crazy about the looks of any XD series gun. They are very "busy" looking.
Sure, the Glock isn't a beauty, but it is an iconic design, the same as the 1911 and BHP. Its utilitarian looks reflect what it is, a rugged and reliable duty pistol. Which is attractive looking to me.
Other ugly guns like the APX, XD and Hi-Point are just ugly, they are not iconic in any way.
And people need to be honest, given how much people complain about the grip and trigger on the Glock, it's impossible not to admire anyone that shoots a Glock really well. A lot of people simply can't shoot them well.Last edited by Vindag; 01-06-2024, 8:08 AM.Comment
