Theres a reason why people love the 365 and its not all hot air. Its an excellent firearm, really the pinnacle of micro compacts. I love it just to shoot for fun, not even for CCW. With an X or Xmacro grip it challenges the Glock 19 for best all around semiautomatic pistol. Only reason why I wouldnt put it above the 19 is because the proprietary magazines are twice as much as Glock mags. But its got Glock beat in every other way. Its really hard for me not to say the 365 is the best handgun ever made.

Don't you need the longer magazines in order to fit the XL/Macro grip module? It's not as easy as just getting a new grip.

The trigger on the Sig 365/m18 is terrible. No, it’s worse than that… y’all are delusional if you think that’s a quality trigger experience. The triggers on the Springfield’s cannot possibly be worse.

But they are, at least the XD's I've fired. Maybe the XDm's have improved the triggers but XD has that feeling where you don't exactly know when the striker releases and that doesn't make a good trigger. M18 (and probably P365) has a definite break and very short reset. P320 surprised me for the better. I can see why people like this gun. As someone else stated, if it wasn't for those expensive magazines, and that SigFoot reputation, (true or otherwise), it'd be awesome.

But what do I know, I'm "delusional" I guess.

I bought the Sig P365 the day Turner's started taking deposits - I really like it. I'll probably end up getting a Hellcat Pro as well - why not?

It's a 5lb-ish striker trigger. There's nothing remotely wrong with it.

                But anyway,

The big draw of the 365 is that you can endlessly buy new accessories all day long. People love accessories. I couldn't possibly care less about that,
so the 365 and shield plus are about equals for me. If you want a bigger than micro gun, the 365 is the way to get there.

I bought a max9 too and besides having a loose trigger blade, I think it too is about the same as any other 18-20oz 3" micro. The triggers on all of them are fine.

... Except the hellcat trigger, which locks up and fails if you side load it a bit. Try in the store. You can probably get it to lock up first try.

As you surely must know, the P365 uses an entirely different FCU from the one used in the P320/M18's.

They are completely different pistols with no interchangeable parts between the two.

While neither of these has a target trigger out of the box, they are comparable to defense pistols in their general price range.

To an earlier question regarding magazines for the larger/longer SIG grip modules,

they are readily/legally available in 10 round capacity from SIG and online dealers...

Not trying to be a contrarian, but it's really hard for me not to say that the P365 is the most overhyped handgun ever made. ;-)

Shot friends off roster twice, hated it, grip too small, uncomfortable, have owned three defective Sig handguns (not P365s) in five years. The brand is tainted for a lot of people who have had less than stellar experiences with them. I'd buy any popular sub compact over the P365 and have, Shield Plus PC and Ruger Max 9. Shot the same friends Hellcat, didn't like how it shot either but I'd buy one over a Sig just because I've had MUCH better reliability from Springfields than Sigs

it will take a minute to import Hellcat from Croatia. So be patient..

I am not a Sig USA fan, but I have to say, the 365 is just right for a CCW. Small enough to fit in pocket, big enough for MY hands, 10rds in same size as J frame SW. I haven't shot it yet but it can't be much worse than that J frame, right?

While the 365 might be a little small to really enjoy shooting it?s super concealable. I know that people hate the LCI but I think them adding the optic plate made it worth the sacrifice. Add a Holosun to mine. First optic I?ve tried and gotta say I like the set up.

Yes, but they both use FCUs and the triggers have a very mushy experience. As long as you know what you are getting that is okay. It is just not a great trigger.

I got two 365s. Both of them off roster models and for sure I am not looking any further. I have tried pretty much everything-for me 365 is way better than anything else from the same group. Modularity is really huge benefit and I am configuring my “today” carry gun depend of clothing I am using-standard, X,XL, X with RD, XL with RD, XL Comp, XMacro with RD or XMacto Comp, with or without MS. Possibilities are pretty much endless. No one other offer anything like that.

Looks like Turners just updated their ETA on the Hellcat Pro. Say's Mid January 2024 now. Sounds about right
