    Hellcat Pro - ETA?

Has anyone actually seen or bought a Hellcat in Norcal yet. Any idea when they will arrive in stores?

A couple might trickle in for special people and influencers but large shipments won't arrive until January.
Allegedly the reason is because Springfield/HS didn't expect the approval process to go so fast and were in full swing producing Echelon's.

I ordered a Hellcat and my SIL ordered a Pro a couple days after they hit the roster. We were told ?early January.?

$620 @ Sportsman's. Not too shabby for CA.

Hellcat and Shield Plus are just too late now. Sig ramped up production real quick and currently floods the market with p365. Sig takes all the low hanging fruit already. SA and SW now have a much smaller but crowded market.

I bought the Sig, but i'm going to purchase the Hellcat Pro too. I think there are a lot of people that will be willing to buy these just because they haven't had a new pistol on the roster in so long. Buy them all now before they take them away again.

if the SIG 365 XL was available I would get it. however the standard 365 is a non starter for me as I don't like the short grip.

The P365 grip is a cheap and trivial upgrade.

Buy any P365 model and swap the FCU into to the desired grip/mags in seconds...

Well, I have to admit my ignorance in this case. Thanks for pointing this out. I have never been a SIG guy and hadn't done my research regarding the 365.
                      Are the 365s currently available?

Yes, they are available. You can get any size of p365 once you buy one of them, because the FCU is considered the firearm, and it is easily transferred from one grip to another (to get the X or Macro grips) and to other slides (to get the L slide or a compensated slide, for example). Though in California, you will need to remove the magazine disconnect mechanism on the FCU in order to fit most grips, as it is a feature required only in California. You can easily look up how to do this.

You can have the equivalent of the p365 XL once you get a p365, though you will need the new grip and the new complete slide. If you just want a longer grip, as in the p365X, grip modules are sold for around $50-75. So you can have several different sizes of the same gun. It would be like having a G19 and a G45 by just changing the grip. Or making a G19 into a G47/G17 with a grip and slide change. But still having the same firearm.

California Sig p365s require internal modification, which are safety features, to convert to an X or XL.

If you plan to carry it, make sure your IA is fine with internal mods.

For now. Sig will soon turn their attention to accessories, which are money makers. You will be able to buy anything you need to change ur CA 365 to any version you want.

The p365 is a vastly better gun and shooting experience vs a hellcat.

The Shield plus is a great gun too
