Glock timney reset issue

Verify that the connector is away from the housing. The connector is a leaf spring and must be able to move to the right and forced back to its notch in the trigger housing to reliably reset. Here is a good photo of what it should look like, note the connector is not in the housing notch but sprung out of it.

Well, the Timney trigger has always been an aftermarket upgrade for range or competition use. I have to think it's why the word "Competition" is in the title of the product.

What's really amazing about the trigger is that one can INCREASE the striker spring weight and still get a sub 4lb trigger.

In the competition realm a Glock with a Timney greatly levels the playing filed against CZ's that are dominating the field.

This be truth. Since I put one in my race gun, I don't think I could have made a more significant improvement.

So this is an aftermarket solution for a problem caused by another aftermarket solution? Makes no sense to me to greatly compromise the reliability of the firearm.

?I sound like a broken record but there is usually at least one guy in every class that is having issues with his Glock, and 9.9/10 it's because they went and mucked with it thinking they could make it better.

It’s like the person(s) that is NEVER EVER satisfied with standard loads too. There?s always that one guy that buys a 9, but has to load it with a +P+, believing that it makes the caliber “better.” An acquaintance I know told me that his 9mm +P+ loads “make it as good as a .357Sig or a .357 magnum!” He was incorrect with both assumptions, but that was for another debate. I said, if you want .357Sig or .357 magnum power, then why didnt you just buy those in the first place?
