Glock timney reset issue

Bought 3x Glock timney triggers gen 3 .
Installed it on my Glock 34,17,19
But some reason 17/19 having issues with reset.
But Glock 34 is working fine.

I watched many YouTube videos but can't fix the problem
All of them have 3.5 apex connector and plunger.. never had issue with apex trigger

Tune the connector tension so it doesn't jam the trigger bar into the frame. Then install the heavy trigger return spring, I think its the red one.

I'm so stupid. I just accidentally put 17 slide on 19 frame. And it's stuck😡

I didn't like the mushy reset so I made my own trigger spring with 18 gauge 0.04" music wire .

Alpha triggers require the factory connector bar. If you use a - connector bad things happen.

The timney triggers are known to have issues. As is the glock performance trigger esp as they get dirty

Put the stock trigger back in with a Glock "dot" or "minus" connector and don't mess with it any more. Problem solved.

If you can get the slide back far enough and remove the rear plate you can get the striker out and it will slide off.

In addition to what others have said, remove the entire Timney Trigger and clean out the frame to receive red insert and make sure it's seated completely in place.

It will all work out fine, but what's happening is two different products from two different manufactures with two different standards of production variances are countering each of their limits. You just have to find out where those variances are defeating each other (presuming you are using an OEM striker).

I called Timney direct and their tech told me. They only recommend using the factory glock parts ie: the connector that came with OE pistol. I had an issue with my Lone Wolf connector resetting, so I just tuned it by bending it. Now seams to be working fine. I used the Apex connector with the Timney and no issues. I'm getting 2.5-2.75# pull on the Lone Wolf LWD-721, which is their version of of the Minus Connector

I posted in the long thread in detail about my experiences with Timney, and tl;dr of my $0.02 is revert the entire gun to stock, bend the connector to the angle recommended by timney customer service, install timney with red spring.
Likely will be fine after that and if not, ask for a warranty replacement timney

So this is an aftermarket solution for a problem caused by another aftermarket solution? Makes no sense to me to greatly compromise the reliability of the firearm.

I recently went to the range with a buddy who has a Johnny Glock trigger. Spent several hundred dollars on the trigger. We were in a multi-day class last year and he kept having issues with what appeared to be light strikes. He's still having issues with the gun to this day despite getting suggestions on how to fix the issue from Johnny Glock. No freeakin' way I'd ever drop any aftermarket trigger into a Glock. I sound like a broken record but there is usually at least one guy in every class that is having issues with his Glock, and 9.9/10 it's because they went and mucked with it thinking they could make it better.

For price of one Johnny Glock trigger or two Timmy triggers you could get a case of ammo and master the stock trigger.
