Not a fan of tiny weapon lights. The added bulk for either CCW or Duty is not worth their diminished output.sigpic

Let’s be real about surefire though. In the flashlight world, Surefire is mocked as a seriously behind the times company, where Chinese companies are cranking out lights with more lumens, more features, longer battery life, more modes, more everything. They get mocked for the LED colors, poor runtimes, and lack of straight up performance. And that’s not even getting to their use of behind the times batteries. I have a fair share of misecellaneous lights and lamps, but with guns and streetwise EDC, I prefer my surefires.
Other companies are putting out new lights with new batteries and new technology non stop…but lets be real, accessing a multitude of modes by tapping buttons like Morse code isn’t gonna cut it for emergency use. My single cr123 surefires are still my favorite for pocket carry and use at work. Still dig my other fenix, Olight, zebra lights, etc tho.Last edited by Peahi2; 11-27-2023, 9:33 PM.Comment
