Regarding "just a barrel swap" I have a Tokarev (IIRC it's the Chinese made 213 model?) which was bought in 9mm. I added a 7.62 barrel and mags and it shoots fine. May have changed the recoil spring, not 100% sure.

As long as they are C&R. Vendors will explicitly state if one is C&R. Always call vendors to make sure they will ship C&R to California. Some vendors just don't want to do business with CA to avoid any hassle. Also make sure your FFL01 is willing to accept and transfer the C&R to you.

Like in your other identical post. It looks good. It's not a target pistol.

Remember most of the surplus ammo in this caliber is corrosive, so many surplus pistols will have some pitting in the bore.

It's not a big deal.

No mention of the North Korean Type 68 pistol either, even though it is listed in the BATFE C&R firearm list (1972-2018).
But, they are so rare that everyone forgets about it.

SUper interesting variant. Any rollmarks on a N. Korean pistol? It looks as if it just has a large serial number on the slide, any Korean writing on the other side?
