Much like you, I have yet to win anything. I've got plenty of time to change that in the future...

Congratulations. Nothing is better than a new gun, except when it's free.

Yeah, its still hard to believe. I almost didn't buy the tickets. I had just bought a belt fed gun and a pistol a few days earlier and had just paid Ade for 2 Dros's, one handgun test for my wife, and 2 transfer fees. I was pretty much tapped out. We were walking out the door and he said " hey, you want to take a chance on the raffle? Like I said I never win anything, but Ade is such a nice guy, I couldn't refuse him. So, I bought a ticket for me and my wife and when I left his store, I had like 2 bucks left in my pocket. I'm glad I didn't cheese out.. I'm gonna go check it out tomorrow. I don't think I'll be getting much sleep tonite..

This really sucks! That's it, I'm going to start a petition for Ade to move up to NorCal.

Congrats! Man, you are one lucky............!

Wow! Congrats! How come I didn't know about Ade's raffle.

I would have bought a few tickets just to help him out. I also didn't know about that break in or attempted break in. Did they get anything or did the sob's get caught? Ade's a great guy and I hate to hear or see bad things like that happen to good people like Ade.

                  1. The Raffle - Ade had a shoe box on the counter for customers to drop in their tickets. It's been there... oh, 3-4 weeks at least, I think.

                  2. The break-in - Less than 2 weeks after he moved into the new shop, I guess it was a really foggy night. Two guys smashed the glass, and figured they could smash into the handgun case by the door with something, use their truck to pull the case to the steel security slider, and grab guns through it. They did not realize that it was impact-resistant Lexan-type material, and not glass. The impact knocked the shelves down, bringing down the guns with them, but the case was not broken into and nothing was stolen. Ade has installed security cameras, and aside from some marks on the display case, everything is like-new again I don't think the guys have been caught.

Damn! What a bunch of morons. Wonder if these guys were customers of his. I'm sure glad everything is ok for Ade and that nothing was stolen. Gonna have to stop by there to talk to Ade. Maybe I'll buy a gun just to help him out. Excuses to buy a gun.

                          A very Merry Christmas indeed.
I just have one question -
I had just bought a belt fed gun
I didn't know we peons were allowed to own such things.

yes it's ok, but as usual there are stipulations.

In Cali, you can not load more than 10 rounds in the belt and of course it has to be semi-auto...

Thanks! Ade told me some guy walked in the store just before he was getting ready to draw the winning ticket and bought $200.00 worth of chances. What a bummer for him. I get to pick it up tomorrow finally. I can't wait. It's funny how no matter how many firearms you have, the excitement and anticipation is just as intense as when you got the first one.
