    I Have Never....

won anything in my life... But I just got a phone call from Ade's Gun Shop in Orange, CA., and he told me that I am the proud winner of a Sig Sauer 1911 Revolution. It's stainless steel with a rail.

I bought 2 ten dollar raffle tickets from him, one in my name and one in my wifes, last week when we went in to DROS a couple of guns we purchased.

My wife is the one with all the luck, but my number came up this time. Needless to say Ade made my Christmas. I won't see it for a while because I just recently bought a Kimber, but that's ok. I still can't believe it.

So, to all you guys that have never won anything before, don't give up. If it can happen to me, it can happen to anyone..

    Merry Christmas Calgunners!

p.s. if your in the area support Ade. He is a good guy with good prices and does transfers cheap.

Well if it's not going to be used, I'll give it a good home.

                Congrats!!

Like you I never win anything, but earlier this year the TASC (Tuesday Action Shooting Club) had their annual Bay Bridge Classic shoot, which is a charity shoot and they sold off raffle tickets. Thinking it was a good cause (toys-for-tots) I decided to "donate" $20. (I usually look at buying raffle tickets as a donation cuz i never win) To my surprise I actually won a Springfield GI.45.

It sure is great when the first time you win something it is actually something useful and not some Pepperidge Farms gift box.

Let us know how you like that Revolution after you have had a chance to get it to the range. (Stupid 1 gun/30 day rules)

The 1 gun / 30 day rule is no joke though...

I think the raffle was to help pay for the broken glass from those morons who tried to break into his shop the other month.
