There's a P-10 45 for sale at the local pawn show. Four-digit serial number. Comes with three mags. Very clean and doesn't appear much used. Maybe 'cause it'd unreliable?
It was offered to me earlier today for $595, $100 off original asking. I may return tomorrow or Saturday with a counter offer.
I already own a Colt Defender, so 3" 1911 don't phase me.
I do like how it feels in my hand.
To be continued....Comment

That LDA trigger was a trip, I never actually shot one. But I did dry fire one in a gun shop once. Not my thing, but I remember thinking darn that?s pretty innovative. If I remember right it was very smooth and lite.Im a warmonger baby, I got blood in my eyes and I'm looking at you.Comment

It is very smooth and a little lighter than a good revolver trigger. It's fun to shoot and even more fun to step up to the line and have the RSO do a double take when you load it and the hammer follows the slide.
I'm retired. That's right, retired. I don't want to hear about the cop who stopped you today or how you didn't think you should get a ticket. That just makes me grumpy!Comment

I have a Carry 9 LDA that I carry. I also carry HK with the LEM trigger. The only thing I don't like with the LDA is the reset occurs after the second click. The LEM can be fired again after the sear resets but before the hammer is fully lowered.Comment

It's 180-degrees from what I'm used to seeing on CalGuns about Para Ordnance!
But to be fair, once Remington got a hold of the company, Para did pretty much turn to you-know-what. But hey, Remington got what it wanted; i.e. the R1 (and where is that now?).
When Para was in its prime, they made some pretty dang sweet pistols!John

Love my P13. Gave it some upgrades a few years back.

An older build. It can out pretty nice and shoots really well.
