I'm not a big revolver guy, but a lot of more experienced wheel gun shooters and smiths told me to stay away from those speed strip style of loaders because over time the cylinder crane can bend. Not sure if that's more of a metalurgy issue nor do I know if that's more common in high round count revolvers.

HKS all the way simple, reliable, they work. I tried the safariland push loaders I had two of them fail to retain the rounds after a couple months of daily carry and weekly practice. The push design is unreliable and prone to breakage and wear.

The rounds being a little loose in the HKS is a feature, not a bug.

HKS here. Have the same two I bought in 1981. Hundreds upon hundreds of reloads, and falling to the ground, in the Academy, training, quals, practice. They just plain work. Speed strips for CCW though.

Until you decide best speed loader for revolvers...

Just bring a couple kids along and pass a empty revolver to them so they can load it while you go to a back-up revolver.

Safariland Comp II speedloaders ... I have been using them for 40 years. They are the fastest reload.
