Case hardened 357 DA revolver?

I have been digging through the CA approved revolver list looking for a DA case hardened 357 revolver. I have yet to find anything. I feel like this has to be a think that is for sale and on the list and I am just missing it. Would prefer a 6 inch barrel but that is nitpicky at this point.

I have been looking at the Python or maybe 686 but I do not like the release on the python have not had a chance to put my hands on a 686 yet. I am not opposed to sending a python out for refinishing but that is blasphemous. I don't sell my guns and this will get shot a lot so want something that can take 1K rounds a year for a decade or more with full power loads.

A revolver can be purchased regardless of roster if the barrel is 3" or greater and the overall length is 7.5" or more, and it is converted to single action for DROS.

Turnbull shipped me this Ruger GP100 as a single action, and now it is back to DA

A few years back S&W had "Heritage" or "Classic" series where DA guns were made to resemble the pre war guns. Some had case colored frames and looked really cool, though that was not ever done before. Here's on I found...

Turnbull has them ready to ship, that is how I ordered mine. Ask them to remove the DA hammer dog before shipping, and make sure your FFL understands that it is single action.

Just he case hardened trigger and hammer on my all stainless 60-7 main edc imparts a little more class

It refers to 'color case hardening' which imparts a unique color pattern on the steel parts where it is applied.

Turnbull does it the traditional way, which involves heating the parts in bone charcoal then quenching them.
