I have one for my 17, its lots of fun and cheap practice. A little picky on ammo, they recommend Minimags or Golden Bullets.

I have the Advantage Arms .22 LR Conversion Unit for my Glock 17 Gen 3.

It shoots copper plated bullets with 98% reliability. But when I tried lead bullets it was 50% or every other round was a stoppage. Of course CCI Mini-Mags run the best.

1850 rounds down range. I recommend it highly.

I have one for my 19. It runs well. My only grip is the takedown is a little wonky.

I have Advantage Arms .22 LR Conversion kit for my Glock 19 Gen 3.
Accurate and works great, no issues at all even with ammo not recommended by Advantage Arms, like Federal, it does like to run wet, so I add a few drops of Break Free before shooting it.
But, you can find better price then on OpticsPlanet.

I've had one for awhile for my Gen 3 G19. It is an excellent accessory, works perfectly. I have only tried minimags (the recommended .22 round) and have had no reliability issues.

Very accurate also. What I do at time for removal is slip in a fired .22 shell so the dry fire doesn't hurt anything.

Highly recommended except I would go anywhere but OpticsPlanet to get one (they suck).

Interesting, how does slide operation compare to the Glock 9mm slide i.e. is the spring much lighter/easier to rack?

It is much lighter. One of the reasons I bought this is for my wife who has trouble with the stock G19 spring. She is able to work this easily.

I'll have to check but I think the slide is machined out of aluminum, making the gun as a whole much lighter as well.

(edit: yes, slide is aluminum, barrel is steel). This is a very well made kit, precision machined.

I think she will love this kit. The sights are adjustable (I think I had to touch these up a bit) and this kit is a tack driver. Also, it comes with a very nice zipper case that holds everything so range trips are easy.

I usually start with the 9mm and switch to .22 and my wife and I can then enjoy.

Great option for the wife and especially my youngest daughter. My wife prefers 1911 and the daughter is just interested in plinking with our Marlin .22 rifle.

I have both the 26 and 19 kits, run them on 39 and 38 frames. They've been reliable with Augila bulk pack 40 grain. Highly recommend Advantage Arms.

I have both the 17/34 and 19/23 Advantage Arms Gen3 kits. All run flawlessly with MiniMags. Never tried anything else.

So is hollow point copper plate rounds off limits? I'm asking for a glock 17 gen3 owner.
