    HK SP89 clone

Can a clone HK SP89, separated as lower & upper, still be sold as a PPT?

Legally, yes. Though you need to make sure that the seller has a DROS record showing that it was sold to them as a semi-auto pistol if that's what you plan on building when you figure out how you want to comply with current AW laws or after the AW laws have been overturned.

You will also need to check with your dealer of choice to make they are willing to transfer it that way.
    Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

I bought it as a complete factory built pistol but with BB . I just separated it years ago & was looking to sell as such. Thanks for the reply.

Yes barrel is on receiver but bolt group & fire control group is separated from it. It should be good to go for sale just gotta find a FFL to do PPT, correct? Thanks for the help guys!

Also looking for San Diego FFLs to do PPT.
