    Question regarding incomplete pistol purchase

Hello everyone, I have a question regarding purchasing pistol lowers and slides.
I'm interested in buying a off roster p320. I found several threads/posts that are offering the complete slide and grip module with out the fire contr unit.
How does this work when doing a PPT? Is it regulated the same way as if you purchase a ar15/10 lower, in the sense you buy then wait the 10 days? Thank you for assisting me any info helps.

For the 320, if there is no FCU then you don't need PPT. Only the FCU is considered a firearm and subject to PPT and roster rules.

Without the FCU you just have parts. You need a FCU with the parts to make a gun you can shoot.

      Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

Can I buy the FCU separately online?
Will I need to register the FCU through FFL?

Also, with it being off roster, say I purchase a FCU from online and have it shipped to FFL, will I even be able to register it?

Nobody is legally going to sell you a marked FCU, it's the serialized part, the gun in the eyes of the law. As was stated above, the rest of it is just parts.

You got to buy the whole P320 gun and PPT it as if off roster gun. If so desire, you can buy parts to make it into a different looking gun with the same FCU.

                No.

I would have to be PPT and in-person at an FFL.

You don't list where you're located. Too bad. There's a dealer that sells these as single shot pistols.

I thought that option had long been closed.

Where is this said FFL manufacture/dealer.

Are they simply straight up making a single shot pistol with the FCU?
Before there was Polymer there was Accuracy.

                        Nope, just not widely used.

2A Zone in Upland manufacturers a single shot exempt pistol based on the 320 and 365 FCU.
