I got rained out from doing yard work today so went gun store browsing instead. The second place I went to had this used P239 on the shelf. Except for some wear on the side of the chamber, it basically looked like a new gun. I went back into a corner of the store and some quick research revealed that the P239 was discontinued in 2018 and some sellers are very proud of the ones they are peddling. There was no box and only one magazine, but I decided that I wanted it if I could get it for the right price. So, I dusted off my negotiating skills and managed to get it for $450 and I got them to throw in a dovetail back P226 magazine. I hope I did okay on it.
I can see why relatively heavy single stack low capacity pistol wouldn't be a barn burner sales wise, but that weight makes for a solid feeling pistol. While I probably won't use it for my EDC gun, I think it will be carried from time to time.
Apparently a previous owner got bored and nickel plated the controls. One thing I like is that it has the Sig SRT.

Kind of poor lighting, but I was trying to show the "Frame made in Germany" on the side.

I'm not really any kind of a Sig collector, but I do like their pistols and will pretty much always buy one if the price is right. All Of these were bought used:
