Pistol Rack

Has anyone tried these?

i'm thinking of ordering a few and wanted some feedback... these will be placed in the safe to keep things better orginized.

if you are using something else that you like, please share your experience...

Those are the ones I use, and do a great job of protecting the finish of the firearms.

They're good. Just don't place your revolvers in them with the cylinder open...it's a pain to get it out once they get stuck.

At the sale price for what they do it's a hard bargain to beat. Much better than laying your goods out on a shelf in the safe. I prefer this model, I picked up two on sale at CTS for $15 each a while back. The little shelf for mags underneath is handy and is roomy enough to hold a couple of .22 pistols or compact autos.

I have two and they work okay. They're not for every pistol though. Big revolvers don't fit very well. If you have a aftermarket Bullseye-style grip on any semi-autos, they won't fit either. I have five handguns that don't work in these racks: my two Bullseye pistols (with Randall Fung grips), my Ruger .22 MkIV with the wooden Ruger target grip, my Ruger Redhawk .44 Magnum, which is just a bit too big, and lastly and old WWII Luger, which hangs too low, with the rear site resting on the shelf below. For regular sized pistols and revolvers, they're fine.

Good rack. One size does not fit all, but most medium and full size pistols work fine.

Those are the racks that I use, but not all pistols will fit with the sights down. I have a few with the sights on top, trigger down.

My only complaint about them is that the bars are fairly wide and most pistols seem to 'flop' between the bars, so they could bang against each other.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I thought the foam paded (interior) cases that come with your gun at the time of purchase trap/ absorb moisture. Not a good combo with a firearm that you don't want to rust.

ive also heard that but no one ever confirmed this...

as for the racks any one ever try a sub compact in them???
