    Gun bubble is bursting?

Judging from the amount of new and used guns in the local guns shops I'm wondering if the gun bubble is just about ready to burst. Have you guys stopped buying and have you noticed anything happening?

Sort of. The market goes from one part/group of parts to others. Here's the progression I saw:

    Uppers/lowers/LPKs/Mags
    Ammo
    Reloading components

Not sure what's next (if anything) but at some point, people have to run out of money.

Well I wish the damn ammo bubble would burst. As far as guns it looks like there's a fair selection of handguns out there. It's just a matter of shopping around.

Yes, I'm seeing lots of signs of the panic buying bubble deflating.

The panic buying is over, but sales are still good.

            Manufacturers are catching up.

I think elevated gun sales would continue if ammo supply were improved.

Ammo is not coming down, and parts kits with original barrels are coming down a little bit, but everything else is dropping like a brick. I just scored a complete AMD-65 parts kit for $275 shipped.

I see a lot more guns in stock at the wholesalers. Glock, for instance. I can buy things other than 10mm, .45GAP, and .357SIG. I can actually buy new stuff like 17RTF's.

I am always looking for Beretta D models in 9mm or a Compact Type M.

                    More available

I would definitely agree that guns are more plentiful and available now than 6 months ago. In gun stores I am seeing plenty of new Glocks, Sigs and Rugers. And on the Calguns "for sale" page I am seeing more used guns for sale all the time. I think the prices are softening on the used guns as well.

I have passed up 2 good deals on some .45's here since i can't find .45 ammo right now.

                      I agree with you.

Its getting substantially better, but we are not out of the woods yet.

Ammo is ridiculously scarce.... (although I have it on good authority that Freakshow MFG has some 5.56 on hand at a good price)

I'm just pissed that I didn't buy more .22LR back when I could find it and afford it.

Yeah...I have to admit I thought we'd never run out or 22lr...or that we'd run out of it last...

Most definitely on guns. Not yet on ammo...but there are signs.

Yes there are signs of guns in stock but the price??? You need to shop around for the best price on them. And the ammo is hard to find and prices keeps going up....
