The way some gunshop clerks spout off, you'd think that they invented gunpowder and the repeating rifle, and sat on the Supreme Court as well.

If your asking about value personally LB TRS hands down. Your inital investment might be a bit more but the residual value is a lot more than all the model LB has, for an all around carry or target pistol my vote is not LB but Wilson CQB. I say this because I owned both for at least about 10 yrs now. My gripe with LB although good quality is the frame and slide fitting is a bit too tight so its not too forgiving in a very harsh condition. CQB on the other hand is about as perfect slide frame fit not loose but also not very tight. That said if I will just go to target practice in a well controlled environment I always shoot my LB TRS, but if I take a pistol class where heat, cold, dirt and will shoot about 700 rds or so without time cleaning my gun I use my CQB. Done these a few times and never had a problem. Again this is just my personal experience and opinion that I like to share to everyone.Comment

How many rounds have you put thru your LB out of curiousity? I ask this because the supposed "Overly Tight" slide to frame fit goes away after 1,000 rounds and just gets smooth from there. I never took a class with mine but I did shoot 880 rounds the first week w/o any cleaning outside of a boresnake w/o any malfunctions with various cheap ammo.My opinions are my own and do not represent the position of other companies I may be involved with.Comment

For harsh conditions, I'd use my Glocks without even thinking twice. But 1911 I want for pure shooting pleasure with maybe some use in SD/HD.If your asking about value personally LB TRS hands down. The dollars associated with spending the money on Wilson's higher-end pistols would not work out for me. At those price points I'd start looking at true custom work.Brandon Combs
