    SMITH & WESSON M&P M2.0 9MM CONVERSION

    Hi All,

I've been trying to search this question but unable to get an answer.
I have a M&P M2.0 compact 9MM and was able to find a full assembled optic ready 10MM slide on ebay. Is the M2.0 frame on the 9MM and 10MM compact identical? Was hoping to buy this slide and 10mm mags for the conversion. Thank you!

I doubt it. When you look at all the different guns that have X-Change kits they all seem to be limited to 9mm/357Sig/40S&W/41AE which all have similar OAL case sizes. Those that include the 10mm also include the 45ACP. Both of which are bigger than the first group.
    Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

Your best bet would be to probably call Smith, but I don't think that swap will work. Most manufacturers will say you can go down in caliber, but not up for a direct exchange. The larger calibers will usually have beefier parts in the frame to absorb the greater recoil.

Most likely the 10mm mags won't fit like Morrcarr67 said.

The 10mm uses the larger frame of the 45.

The new M&P[emoji2400]10mm M2.0[emoji769] pistol was designed to match the M&P[emoji2400]45 M2.0[emoji769] pistol frame size

Double whammy, the compact has a shorter dust guard so although it fits a full size 9 and 40, you end up with a gap underneath the slide.
