    Red dot with WML?

Does anyone have a pistol wearing both a red dot and weapons mounted light? If so, does the dot washout when you activate your WML in a dark room? Thanks.

I have an RMR used in conjunction with a 550 lumen WML. My dot is setup to higher brightness for indoor use and dims down for daylight or lowlight outdoor use. Don't have issues with washing out.

Just a note a red dot set to "auto brightness" mode will not brighten up when you deployed in a darkened environment when you deploy white light. IMHO it's better to have a RDS that blooms in low light then not being able to see your RDS in bright light.

The dot should not wash out if you leave it on the proper brightness setting. With that being said, I have "downgraded" my bedside pistol by removing the red dot and simply running irons + X300U.

Unless your light is exceptionally bright, it shouldn't wash out a red dot.

Lol. No. As long as you set it to the appropriate brightness setting; it will not wash out.
