Is this just a new upper assembly? I have a Colt series 70 Combat Commander in 9mm and wanted a .45. I found a complete Colt .45 Commander upper on CG and it works great on my frame. I think I paid $300 and lunch at In N Out for it from another member 10+ years ago. All that said you should be able to swap the upper, barrel, bushing and magazine with an existing 1911 frame.

I had one back in the mid-late 80's, you have to change the ejector to get it to work properly. It ran fine for me, but I sold it after I got bored with it.
Another item I should have held on to.

The ejector and slide stop are in a sandwich bag with the guide rod and spring unfortunately.
