10 rounds mags for Walther PDP

Could someone explain me why? I was under impression it is legal to buy 10 rounds/CA complained mags online. Am I wrong?

Mags with a limiter base are fine—but dimpled mags are a no-go in CA.

Not sure why Walther bent over for CADOJ.
Dimples are permanent, no way they will bend/wear.

but shall not be construed to include any of the following:

(a) A feeding device that has been permanently altered so that it cannot accommodate more than 10 rounds.

(b) A .22 caliber tube ammunition feeding device.

(c) A tubular magazine that is contained in a lever-action firearm.

Lot's of 10 round mags use dimples to restrict capacity.

Mecgar dimples mags for Berettas, Sigs and others. Sig dimples the 320 mags.

You can buy the dimpled PDP/PPQ mags, just not direct from Walther.
