Just buy a smooth trigger shoe and replace it. I did my gen 3 G26 in about 10 minutes.

i think a file makes a cleaner cut

but i've never done it but i have sanded polymers and they get kind of fuzzy

this looks like it would work

Buying a safe and sane firework is like paying a hooker for a hug. I do not see the appeal in it.

Oops, sorry. I can't help with that, never felt the need.

Be extremely careful when shaving off the finger groves on a Gen3. Removing the ledges are fine, but if you grind off the knurling and stipple the front strap it's gets extremely thin and you can eaisly poke through the front strap.

You can pick up decent vise at harbor freight and go low rpm's with dremel. Leave enough to hand finish it.

I'll be the first to comment on the Emperor's New Clothes.

Don't do it. Glock Gen 3 is to resolve the issues of getting a good grip that Gen 1 and Gen 2 lacked. Back in the day people got Hogue grips so they can get a better grip. You will also cut your resale value by 50%. JMHO
