Delay Delivery DROS

Not 100% sure but I was told that if you go on delay at Turners and DOJ comes back undetermined that they will not release.

I just received a Delay Delivery on my DROS from Turners-West Covina. I purchased a consignment firearm from them. I happened to get a copy of it. On the bottom of the Form the DOJ copied - West Covina PD.
Is that normal?

Likely you'll be waiting for 30 days, go undetermined and re DROS. They DO NOT release on undetermined.

I have a CCW, FFL03 and CA COE. So there is no problem on my side.

The problem is more likely with the gun, rather than you. If it's a consignment gun, perhaps the SN has popped up on a theft report somewhere.

The problem is more likely with the DOJ, and no other problem at all. The volume and frequency of these 'undetermined' delays is indicating something more sinister and manipulative is at work out of Sacramento.

I'm again calling on CRPA/Chuck Michel to address the matter directly with Bonta and whomever else is appointed to managing the DROS system, and other fellow CRPA members should do the same.

We are paying much more in DROS costs these past couple of years, only to see this grabass bullcrap get worse - when the DOJ was previously were audited to reveal they had an extraneous surplus in DROS funds back when it was only $25.

Hard to say, some people have reported having to DROS 3 or 4 times.

I already emailed the DOJ, and asked for clarification will see what happens. Maybe they are just short staffed, and can't release the firearm to me this Friday, Day 10. Its a Arcadia Machine & Tool AMT, 250 Backup 380. Or maybe Turners made a mistake on the DROS.

They are trying to do you a favor - say thank you and move on.
