    Delay Delivery DROS

I just received a Delay Delivery on my DROS from Turners-West Covina. I purchased a consignment firearm from them. I happened to get a copy of it. On the bottom of the Form the DOJ copied - West Covina PD.
    Is that normal?

Me too[emoji20]. Got a notice my dros Is delayed. Sportsman warehouse got the call from DOJ the day after I dros'd.
How can it be delayed a day after I have no idea.
    Pissed to say the least.

Believe it or not, I was at the Counter when I got the call, looking to buy another pistol. They made a copy of the letter for me. The DOJ copied West Covina PD, is that a normal procedure?

Perhaps the firearm was on consignment from an LEO at West Covina PD?

I already waited the required time before DROS started.

CRPA needs to step up and look into this nonsense, and push for accountability from the DOJ - it's now beyond unusual, and has become overtly rampant and unnecessary, with an increasing frequency in these unexplained delays.

I don't think it is anything more than an intimidation, vengeful, and spiteful tactic by Bonta over the increase in gun sales - and him and other totalitarians still reeling over the various city/county agencies and law-enforcement that tried to shut down gun stores and gun sales during the shamdemic, were cited on the unconstitutional manner of it.

On the Form it mentioned Determining purchaser's eligibility. Which makes no sense since I purchased firearms recently. However, another statement on the form says" Additionally, the department may delay a firearms transaction, when the Dept's records indicate that the Firearm being sold or transferred may have been reported stolen" NOT SURE IF THAT IS STANDARD LANGUAGE.

I have a CCW, FFL03 and CA COE. So there is no problem on my side.

I already emailed the DOJ, and asked for clarification will see what happens. Maybe they are just short staffed, and can't release the firearm to me this Friday, Day 10. Its a Arcadia Machine & Tool AMT, 250 Backup 380. Or maybe Turners made a mistake on the DROS.

Ca gun rights groups have to sue, this is too common now with the delays, DOJ is infringing on our rights with extra 30 day nonsense which leads to undetermined which they violate their own written law by not releasing a release letter and want more time.

If I add in all of the actual and proposed waiting periods- approx 30 for consignment hold , 10 regular DROS and now 30 more. Its coming close to 60-70 days.

Also is it standard procedure to copy the West Covina PD with this 30 day additional delay?
                              Thanks
